ICPS (International Conference of Physics Students) 2021

ICPS is the main event of IAPS, organized annually by one of its member committees. The purpose of the conference is to create an opportunity for physics students from all around the world to come together, to talk about science and life, to practice presenting their research and, all in all, to have a great time.

This year in an online format, from the 5th to the 8th of August, students who register for the conference will be able to attend amazing online activities (check the full program here) including:

6 guest lectures with fantastic speakers on topics like astrophysics, high energy physics, the experience of a deaf person in physics, how math can help find fun ways of juggling and more to be announced
– student lectures and poster sessions, which are great opportunities for students to share their own work and research interests with fellow students from around the world, a good way to practice for future presentations – any student who participates can submit a lecture abstract or a poster!
– social and cultural activities, including displays of danish culture, as the host country, and that of many other countries of the participants

To participate, students must be affiliated with an IAPS National or Local Committee or, if not possible, must register as Individual Members of IAPS.

More about the program will be announced over time, so you can follow the updates on Facebook or Instagram. Students can register until the 30th of June. To do so, go to the registration page (here). For any more information or in case of any doubts, please contact Icps-koordinator@nbi.ku.dk.
