Nos alegra enormemente anunciar formalmente la XXVI Escuela Giambiagi, «Sistemas mecánicos en el límite cuántico», que se llevará a cabo del 15 al 26 de julio de 2024 en el Departamento de Física, FCEyN, UBA. A partir del lunes 8 de abril y hasta el lunes 6 de mayo estarán abiertas las inscripciones para participantes.
El tema de esta escuela es «Sistemas mecánicos en el límite cuántico». Habrá una diversidad de cursos que nos brindarán una visión detallada sobre el comportamiento de sistemas con propiedades mecánicas macroscópicas que, bajo un cuidadoso control, exhiben fenómenos cuánticos. Habrá cursos enfocados tanto en teoría como en experimento y tanto en física fundamental como en sus aplicaciones.
La lista de docentes incluye a: Natalia Ares, Diego Dalvit, Ricardo Decca, Alex Fainstein, Rosario Fazio, Tracy Northup, Oriol Romero-Isart, Gustavo Wiederhecker.

Giambiagi School «Mechanical Systems at the Quantum Limit» – Registrations Open
We are delighted to formally announce the XXVI Giambiagi School, «Mechanical Systems at the Quantum Limit» which will take place from July 15th to 26th, 2024, in Buenos Aires, at the Department of Physics, FCEyN, UBA.
From today until Monday, May 6th, registrations for participants will be open.
The theme of this school is «Mechanical Systems at the Quantum Limit.» There will be a variety of courses that will provide us with a detailed insight into the behavior of systems with macroscopic mechanical properties that, under careful control, exhibit quantum phenomena. There will be courses focused on both theory and experiment, as well as on fundamental physics and its applications.
